When she bites lightly flick her cheek and say no. If she keeps on biting, remove her from the breast every time and say no.

I would never punish an infant physically, that is crazy. If she bites I would remove her, and put her back after a few minutes.

Remove her if she bites and sternly tell her no. My dd only did it about 3 times.

The first time my son bit me I pinched his cheeks(like he was making a fish face), pulled him off the breast and firmly told him no biting. He has always been super sensitive so he cried..hard. I didn't let him get back on the breast for a minute or two and kept telling him "no biting, that hurt mama." Worked wonders! He has only bit me a handful of times in the 2 years he's been nursing.

When mines did that i just removed them from my boob and said no in a firm voice. Wait a few minutes and continue nursing. You may have to do this a few times but it works. I'd never physically punish a baby though.

And let me add that pinching his cheeks wasn't to hurt him, it was to get him to stop biting me! Ouch!
