Possible UTI

For the past 2 days I've been getting awful shocks of pain in my urethra and have the constant urge to pee but when I do, it's hardly anything. The only burning sensation I feel it when I have to go, not when I'm actually peeing. I've been drinking as much cranberry juice as I possibly can and it's not helping any. My question is, do I contact my OB and inform him of my lil prob? Does he prescribe antibotics for my lil prob? This may sound like a stupid question but I just wasn't sure cause I don't have a regular doctor.

SOunds exactly like mine when i had them, just call your ob and he'll prolly have you go in and pee in a cup to confirm it then give you a perscription

Yeah. they'll probably have you come in and give a urine sample.

Right now, when you're prego it's important to get any infections cleared up because they're bad for baby.

call just in case, or go to the urgent care...

Drink more water than cran juice, the juice is good for preventing a UTI, not so much for fixing. Plus, if you drink alot of water, you'll have alot to pee out, making it a little more comfortable.

i didnt know i had a UTI until i peed in a cup at the dr's office and noticed there was like... mucous or something.. kinda floating throughtout it. i never really noticed it before in the toilet or anything.. but after finding out that i had a UTI i did see it some in the toilet after I had to pee sometimes.. maybe u should pee in a cup and see if u see anything kinda thick and mucous like floating in there. my dr said that was a sure sign that u had one.. and then i was prescribed some antibiotics. u are supposed to take them for so many days in a row until the presription runs out even if u feel like th UTI has already gone away, keep taking them until u run out so its less likely to come back. i forget how many they gave me but i filled my prescription at walmart for like 25 bucks.
