numbing spray?! lol i never got anything like that   i just got a little spray kind of bottle and used water whenever i had to pee. it helped a bit but not much, i was still in crazy amounts of pain lol.

yeah i think it was like 6-7 weeks until i didnt want to die everytime i peed lol. it got better around 4 weeks but then got way worse again. my stitches were supposed to dissolve but kept coming out so i think that might be why it got worse again lol xD

Yes! It was some little thin can, and it had foam inside that numbed your tears!

I used the saline water spray every time I peed until it ran out, and then I got more. I'm 12 weeks pp now and pretty much back to normal, except I STILL hurt down there when I go to the bathroom. It's not burning from the tears/stitches anymore...now it's more of an achy pressure feeling. From what I understand it's from muscles tearing on the inside (from pushing) and they can take a long time to heal.

Ahhh, the stuff we go through to be Mommies

None ever told me that an episiotomy tear repair could be sewn wrong and stitches could come out or that hemorrhoids don't go away after birth. Nobody told me your not just fat after but you might have a pooch and flap that looks like the fat flap off the movie click or that you can lose hair at 3 months pp like you're balding at the temples. Nooned told me how bad the labor would burn or that the catheter for the epidural hurts and that you could not only tear up but sideways and diagonal and up. But my baby is worth everything roller coaster my body went through.

I've heard about the balding thing...**knock on wood** I haven't had any hair loss yet (3 months pp now). My tearing was really bad, I had 3rd and 4th degree tears. My OB should have done an episiotomy but didn't.

It STILL hurts when I go to the bathroom....no more burning from the tears, more like a deep muscle ache feeling.

lol..the balding...I had no idea you lost your hair at 3 months...I remember sobbing in the shower thinking I was dying, as my hair came out in handfuls. Then, I came on here, and there was a new thread about it! The first PP poop was so awful...I thought I was going to die. I had a C-section, and I had no idea how much my digestion was going to change....it seems obvious now, since they take everything out and put it back willy-nilly.

DUDE, Right??? Pooping was AWFUL. Both times. *cry*
And the cramps were worse, especially because with #2 I nursed.

P.S. I miss your smurfing face.

Yea I thought I was clear but about 3.5/4 months I started shedding like crazy and then it started breaking off. It lasted until she was 8 months.

Yea I torn up, diagonal and sideways. He should have cut but didn't and he did not stitch my muscles or open correct and stitches came out. I really don't even feel like a woman now.

lol omg i would have killed for a numbing spray   i just used regular tap water in the spray bottle thing to help keep it clean and avoid infections, plus it helped the stinging xD

i still feel pressure sometimes too and my son is 4 1/2 months old. i hope it goes away soon   lol but of course its all worth it for him anyway
