sick 11 month old

My son has the worst diarrhea ever. I am literally changing his diaper 1-2 times an hour when he is awake because he farts and a little bit of runny poop come out each time. This is day two of this stomach bug. Actually, it doesn't seem to be bothering him that much other than having to have his diaper changed all the time. I am trying my best to keep him hydrated and to give him bland foods. Is there anything else I should be trying to do for him?

our pediatrician has always told us use the BRAT diet.. meaning bananas rice applesauce and toast. it really does help and make sure that your baby drinks a lot

Boil rice and give him the water from it in his bottle our cup.
