I would not do May/Mae because of the Hillbillys. There was an Ellie Mae on there

I like it with Elle

I would be more likely to use Elle as a nickname, personally. I like my kids to be able to have a full name that can be shortened so they have a choice in what they'd like to be called. So I'd probably go with Eleanor and pair it with a classic middle name like Charlotte.

I am not a fan of Eleanor though. I like Eliana but its so popular though

It's just a suggestion. Nobody has to use it. I wouldn't name my child elle anyways.

I've loved it ever since I watched The Princess Diaries Royal Engagement and there was a little girl named Carolina in it. It's so cute, but the constant mispronunciation would irritate me.
