I think that even if it wasn't stated, it should just kinda be implied that anything stated on a subject such as this is one's opinion.

Also...your profile pic is the serenity prayer, your name has the word "miracle" in it, and you refer to heaven in your about me section...not to mention angel babies...but you don't agree with telling kids that dead people go to heaven? You'd rather tell them they can never see or talk to them again?

I believe heaven is a religious thing and this post was for a non religious family. You can tell a child people go to heaven and that they can't ever be seen again. It doesn't have to be either or. IMO if you don't tell a child that they go to heaven because they can't ever be seen again and aren't alive then they won't want to go to heaven and think they can always come back. Like I said this how I'm raising my child. YOU can raise yours your way. I don't have to be put on blast for what I believe.

Um, I think you need to relax a little. I was just pointing out that it seemed a little inconsistent to me, considering you're the one that got nasty with me for my opinion.

i tell dd that when someone dies, their body stops working, and they're no longer with us here on earth. i don't think it's harsh; it's reality.

I think it only comes off as "harsh" depending on how you say it. I mean, it is what it is. You can say it in a sensitive way and it doesn't come off as being blunt or harsh.
