which would you take a 5 year old girl to?

My daughter's birthday is the 21st. The Nutcracker is in town, as is a horse show called Odysseo, which I guess is pretty awesome. My daughter would absolutely love both.

Pricing, seating, and locations are about even. I can't decide which one to go to. I wish I could swing for both.

Can you ride the horses? Like, are there any activities along with the show?

Oh and can you be my mum and take me to The Nutcracker or a horse show? I never got to do cool things for my birthday

I say Odysseo, since The Nutcracker is a good, but common Christmas show. You could easily see it another time.

I'd do the horse show. I'm sure the Nutcracker will come around again in coming years.

I don't know, the website for the horse show is pretty sparse. It seriously looks like Cirque du Soliel for horses, so probably not.

Ohhh definitely go to that one. I love Cirque Du Soleil and they're hardly ever around here

This is the third year I've meant to take her to the ballet, so it's about equally likely we'll see either next year

BUT Sleeping Beauty comes around my birthday every year so maybe we'll go to the horse show for her birthday and the ballet for mine.

Aww, my mommy took me to see the Nutcracker for my 7th birthday, I absolutely LOVED it.

This is such a hard choice. At her age, I was the same - I was horse and ballet obsessed. But I may go for the horse show simply because ballet comes around quite often - I've never seen something like what your describing with the horses.

Why not just ask her?

I want it to be a surprise

I'm pretty much sold on Odysseo I think. /I/ would love it more rofl. YouTube cavalia Odysseo, they have a lot of clips. We'd be sitting towards the back of the middle section so I might have to buy binoculars for her.

I think thats a good choice - I'll have to look it up. Like I said - seeing the ballet is awesome, but that comes around quite often.
