How common is it to not ovulate while breastfeeding? My period returned at 6 weeks postpartum but no luck on making a baby so far. I know sometimes it can take a while but I also know it's possible to have bleeding without actually ovulating..

I got pregnant at 4m post part um while breast feeding. We were trying so I don't think I Od before that.

You'd have to do some OPK's to see if you're ovulating or not I would guess...
