I have to get this off of my chest!

My husband just got laid off from his job.. I can't even.. I'm freaking out so bad! Trying to stay calm. But it's hard. I'm so upset  

have him file for unemployment like today. it takes a few weeks for it to kick in. smurffy time. I'm sorry.

Has he filed for unemployment? I would be out there busting my tail to find something while he waits for unemployment. Good luck  

he's going to. We just have so many bills to pay! I think here you can't get unemployment for the first week then it takes a week or two to get it. BUT he'll have two full weeks paychecks, so that's good... In the mean time I'm going to pieces and trying to reign in my anxiety =/

oh yeah, he's planning to. He SAYS he'll have a job by the end of the week. I want to believe him. He is over qualified for a TON of jobs, but he makes seriously good money at the job he was at. So now we have to adjust. And it's not like we're spending frivolously but we pay a lot of money for the house we live in (and we're tied into it until april) and we have 3 kids and all these pets.. After rent and utilities we only have so much money left over, and now it's going to be like halved because unemployment isn't really that much.. *sigh* I just hate that we're finally ahead just to get behind again.

i sorry mama, i know how that feels, DH spent 3 months looking for a job and finally got a crappy job then it took another 3 months to find a better job, and his crappy job wouldnt work him for 3 weeks at a time, i swear the entire time he worked there he only got 3 paychecks and he was payed on a weekly basis.
