Oh jeez! My original doctor even had me on BC because of the irregularity and pain associated with my period... wish he would have thought about all of the possibilities... at 14, you don't! lol.

This website has a lot of helpful articles about PCOS. I ended up using their fertility aid to get pregnant. I wouldn't worry about the brown color... just old blood is all. You want to get shedding that uterine lining asap, which is why you should get on something like birth control or, conversely, a hormone-regulating fertility aid. Anyhow, that is what I did -- opting for the natural supplement, rather than the man-made chemicals. I hope it works out well for you. PCOS is not a fun thing! If you do have larger cysts, you will need to get them removed before you can become pregnant. If that is the case, I would recommend being VERY careful about when/how you do the baby dance... because I have a friend who went in to have some cysts removed and it caused her to ovulate early and get pregnant right away -- but 4 months later, she gave birth to a dead baby.   I wouldn't panic at this point... see what you can do with OTC products and, if all else fails, see a doctor.
