Lisfranc Fracture

So, I just found out I've been walking around for a month with a lisfranc fracture in my right foot. Apparently, the fracture itself isn't that bad, but because of where it is, it can cause permanent damage. My question is have any of you ladies had one of these fractures? If so, what kind of healing time did you have? What the doctors say is starting to make me worry.
