What do I do now?

I just found out that Im pregnant last night. I already have an 18 month old but I dont remember what Im supposed to do right now. I know this is probably a stupid question but do I jsut go down to the hospital and they refer me to an OB or do I just call an OB and make an appointment? I would really like to get a midwife or doula this time. The place I went last time for an OB/gyn is shut down now.

no, you dont need to go to the hospital.

Just call around and see who is accepting patients! And congrats

Just call any midwives office and see if they are taking anyone for around your due date...if you know when that would be.

Find a midwife that maybe someone you know has gone to or that looks like a good practice, call them, and make an appointment!!

Where in Ohio do you live? If you were in my area I have a great Midwife I could refer you to. Otherwise... just call around, no need to go to the hospital.
