Anyone else DYING of excitement yet? :)

I've got 16 days left til my due date, and I'm going NUTS! I'm so smurfing excited for this little one to get here!
How is everyone feeling? I've been having some contractions, mostly BH, but I've been having some seriously painful ones as well. I had my cervix checked today, no dilation but her head is RIGHT there.
I'm seriously giddy over here, lol! Let's go Little Rose! Momma can't wait to hold you! <3

I feel like smurf. I'm burning up. Having some pretty intense bh's. For the last two hours. Im exhausted and tired of working. But I am excited. I haven't seen my doc in two weeks but have an appt tomorrow for group b strep and hope theyll tell me if Im dialted or anything yet.

ME! I keeping dreaming about holding him. I am ready for some newborn snuggles! I am so excited to see how my son interacts and what he thinks. I'm terrified of night time though and hope my 2.5 year old sleeping doesn't get messed up. He still wakes up some nights. Nervous to go from one to two, but so excited.

I was excited. Now I'm just annoyed & cranky :/

I have horrible sciatic pain, my hips kill me, I sleep on the couch at night. I have been lightheaded and nauseous the past few days. And if I lay a certain way and get up feel like a bowling ball is right at my cervix. He was also breech as of 2 weeks ago. I'm praying he flips head down ASAP. I haven't had any BH or contractions that I know of.

i agree with you!!!! im having contraction but no progress on dialation. my dr swept my membranes this morning so hopefully something changes soon   my dr says im measuring full term

This! Totally with you on this. But my 2.5 year old wakes up every flipping night.

Yeah, I've been there! Where does he sleep, in his own room? It may take a bit, but everything will work itself out.   It took me a bit to get into the swing of taking care of two kids, I was exhausted as hell. But it gets easier, especially if you have your oldest help you! My oldest DD was SOOO happy to help with her baby sister, and absolutely ADORED her.

I'm praying my son will want to be helpful. He gets mad when I rub my belly and he's wanting attention. He'll walk over say no touch and pull my shirt down
 

We're due on the same day   I'm doing pretty good, just impatient and ready for Silas to come out lol. Last week I wasn't dilated at all, but I was 50% effaced. I'm getting checked again tomorrow at my prenatal so hopefully theres been some progress! I have only had bh contractions so far, nothing painful though. I think we are setting an induction date tomorrow as well, because of my GD. I am hoping he comes before i have to be induced, but who knows  

My mom and grandma have been getting on my nerves too, all i have heard the past few days is "are you in labor yet? Are you having contractions? You need to go run or something, take a walk or have sex, i want to meet this baby!" They are driving me nuts   He will come when he is damn good and ready to come.

He goes a few weeks and sleeps threw the night but wakes up at 6:30 or he wakes in the middle of the night and stays awake for an hour or two then sleeps til 8.

Ds is really needy in the middle of the night. I rock him to sleep, put him down in his bed. And around 1 a.m. he comes crawling into mine. Then starts crying for his sippy. I know I should put him back into his own bed. But I keep reminding myself, he won't be little for much longer. That and I know he will be jealous if I have his baby sister in her bassinet in our room and make him stay in his kwim?

edit. Luckily he is only up for about 10 minutes long enough to drink something.

He has his own room. But it's right across from the babies room. So newborn cries might wake him up. When he was born I slept with him in the living room. But the living room wall shares a wall with his room . I can see him being a big help. He loves to help me with dishes and putting clothes away.

Mine gets me by saying snuggles mommy. So I go in and hold him and rock him also. He also gets a sippy cup in the middle of the night. Sounds like they are simlar. Lol. I can usually get him back to sleep in 10-15 mins as of late. It was really bad a month ago. But he is getting better since he is in a full size bed.
