TTC after giving birth/ while breastfeeding

We want to TTC again asap after this baby.
My only issue is that after I had my son AF didn't come back til 14 months pp. My son was a total booby baby and rarely ate baby food. Even after he started eating table food at 1 yr he was still mostly getting all his food and nutrients from breastfeeding.
Any tips on how to get AF to come back sooner? My son never ever had a bottle in his life and even refused to drink breastmilk out of a sippy once he got older. With this baby I want to go back to work sooner so I'm going to try to start them on a bottle after a month and do a lot of pumping in the beginning. I don't really see how that would help though since I still don't want to have to give them formula so whether they're breastfeeding or I'm pumping it'll still be the same thing.
Anyway, we won't be using birth control so I'll be taking tons of pregnancy tests all the time haha!
Anyone planning on starting TTC next summer?

My father and uncle are Irish twins, due to breastfeeding and absent menses..so you really can't tell.good luck

I made a post a while back about breastfeeding and AF coming back(ovulating) and the consensus I got was that it usually takes even longer the second time than it did the first.

My BIL's girlfriend got pregnant when her DD was a month old. I believe she was breast feeding.

You should track with LAM instead of FAM but as long as your EBF your ovulation won't come for a while. After PP lochia, if you don't bleed for a while an get a sign of spotting after that's your fertility coming back and your body trying to build up a LH surge to ovulate so you should really chart to catch it on time.

LAM- Lactational Amenorrhea Method (PP til 6mos, EBF, no solids, no sign of fertility)
FAM- Fertility Awareness Method (After 6mos, solids included, fertility reappears)

Fertility can return right away even with EBF! My cousin never stopped ovulating! She got pregnant when her daughter was only a month old! It definitely can work, I think your plan to try the bottles early will help you if you want to pump and give bottles as you are TTC. Have to play it by ear I guess!

Women can still ovulate even if they have no menstrual cycle but, giving yourself a one year break would be good to let your body recooperate and recover for a healthy pregnancy.
