oh lordy

So i was super tired, and DS was being so good and really he needed to nap cause hed been up for awhile, i was watching TV, well i ended up strapping him into his bouncer and giving him his blankie and binky and i ended up dozing off for about 45 minutes.......it wasnt like a deep sleep though, i jus feel horrible that DS was awake and i fell asleep, i mean he was safe, he was strapped in properly to his bouncer right next to me he was tucked in with his blankie like he always is and he had his binky and was content but still, lord help me, i shouldnt have fallen asleep, and i know that. he started fussing a little bit and i woke up, which even in a deep sleep if he makes a single noise i wake up. i think its a mom thing because he could be screaming and DH wont budge. but thankfully he works 3rd shift so he never has to get up with him if he wakes up.

If baby is content and in a safe place, it is perfectly fine to nap! I have done this and still do this. Nothing wrong with it

Don't feel bad. He was safe and happy. Nothing wrong with a cat nap

Thank you, i guess i was just looking for some reassurance that nothing was wrong with it, i mean he was safe, fed, and had a clean diaper. i just feel horrible, like i need to be awake if he is, i wish he would nap though im taking him to a christmas parade at 6, hell be able to wear his santa suit for the first time, and i dont want him sleeping through the whole thing.
