Evening Primrose Oil/Natural Induction Methods

First off, how in the HELL do you use EPO??
And secondly, besides Castor oil (which i refuse to even consider), what are some natural ways to help move things along/induce labor?

There's nothing really to induce, but you can take walks, stretch, bounce on a birthing ball, have sex. Also get as much rest as possible so you don't get as tired during labor.

You shove it up your vag and can take it orally too. I was told to do it at night and wear a pantyliner.

Walking, sex, gentle exercise etc. People will say NO to castor oil my dr said it was okay, I used it once and took 2 spoons and went into labor. You still have some time before your dd so just relax but the EPO I started using by 32 weeks so I dkn if it would even help at this point?

I started taking it orally at 34 weeks. Then at 36 weeks I started taking it vaginally as well. My son ended up being 10lbs and 21 1/2 inches long..I only had minimal 1st degree tearing. I truly believe it helped a ton with that!

I never took it orally! Im gonna try that lol

Well, i'm scheduled to be induced next week because of my diabetes. I want to help my body prepare more than throw it in to labor. I'm only a fingertip dilated, so i want to help with that most of all.

Yep...to do it right and safely (I did a TON of research on it) you can start it orally at 34 weeks...and vaginally at 36 weeks.

I forget the exact numbers since it's been awhile. But I think they say it's safe to start putting up your vag around 36 weeks? I started at 37 or 38 weeks and bounced on a yoga ball ever free moment I had. My water broke at 39 weeks 4 days

i hear fresh pineapple works for some women has to b fresh i have 9 days till dd good luck

Holy cow mama. See people who say you can't push out a baby bigger then 8 pounds are liars. I've never once even worried about baby being to big to deliver.

To do it vaginally, do it right before bed and wear a pad or something since it'll leak. But you just shove the pills up there.

Does it say this on the bottle? And do i put more then one? Do you have to prick it?

just shove it up there like a tampon lol. I would double it since your being induced next week. I dkn what other people do or what the right amt is but I would do one at a time every 4 hours ish... but thats just me.
