He will learn eventually Start with like having him watch her when you shower haha. He will have parental instincts too...just tell him not to take what his parents say to heart. I had to with Angel.. no I'm NOT giving my 4 month old baby peanut butter for teething o_0 thanks for the advice! He is much better at second guessing what his mom says now.

Ugh I feel like that's going to be such a challenge because everything his parents say he takes so seriously and that it's right no matter what. When in reality... His parents are very clueless. I'm constantly rolling my eyes at what he and his parents say lol

Well Angel was a lot like that in the beginning....he pressured me into getting induced BECAUSE of his Mom FFS :/. He has come a long way. Not everything they suggest is horrid. But I do my research and he has started to respect my knowledge....especially when it was ALL I would talk about for a long time. He has to put your say over your parents....Mom over grandparents....wife over parents. That's how it works

Ugh so not excited lol
That's why I'm always rolling my eyes, though. I actually DO RESEARCH on these things and his parents are just going off of their experience... Which Eric always claims that he and his brother practically raised themselves anyway. Ugh it's just so annoying trying to tell him that his parents have very different views than mine and I honestly don't want my kid growing up like he did. Not how I did for that matter. I really just want to do my own parenting and wish everyone would respect that lol including him.

Maybe he feels a bit defensive when you say that because it might make him feel like he turned out wrong? I would tell him look were not doing it their way or your parents way....this is all new...info out now is new...its your journey together..and your the primary caregiver so you have the final say
