What's a "fever" in a 3 year old?

My daughter woke up this morning complaining of a sore throat. I looked down it with a flashlight and it's really red. I gave her some Tylenol at 8:35 and my friend brought a thermometer over at 8:50. Her temperature then was 101.2 under her arm. My friend took her thermometer back home so I have no way of checking her temperature again until her doctor's appointment this afternoon. Anyway, she still felt really hot so I gave her some Motrin at 10:50. What is considered a fever in a 3 year old? I didn't think that was too high of a temp but wanted to make sure. Thanks y'all!

101 is a low grade fever
104 is ER worthy

As long as its not 104 then your LO is fine.

Usually medicate at 102. Hospital at 104.
