posted 3rd Dec
I would not want to spend that much on one..Iv come close twice tho lol. I'm not a huge baker..But now soon to having two kids I would like to get more into it. Cookies and such you know.
I have a hand mixer, makes a damn mess

SO is there anything LIKE it. I'm talking cookies and a cake maybe once month.
I love the bowl and mixer together.

TIA!

Ya you can buy a black and decker or a brand like that. But I found that they didn't work the way the kitchen aid does. It also didnt last as long and I'm not a big baker either. I just made cookies and burnt it out. My grandmother had her kitchen aid mixer since the 70's. that thing was old but still ran like new. I would go kitchen aid all the way. Worth the investment.

You can go to goodwill and sometimes they have good ones. My friend loves going there and she once found a kitchen aid one yeah it's used but it works great. She gave it to me

I love my kitchenaid worth every penny. I use it to make pizza dough, pancakes, baking during the year, making soft pretzels. There is so much you can do with it and think long term uses. Kids are in school bake sale comes up in the middle of the year. There are just so many uses if you have the money its worth the investment. I have had mine for 3 years and its just as good as it was the day I got it.

I agree the kitchenaid is totally worth it. They have them on sale at canadian tire allll the time. For like 50% off. Under 200 i believe, which is still lots but much cheaper than original price.

In my opinion the money for the KitchenAid stand mixers is WELL worth it. We paid $250 for mine. It's commercial grade. A gentleman stopped us when we got it and said he's had the same one in his donut shop, used daily, for some 15 years. I've also heard of them being 30-40 years old and still working and being passed down to children and grandchildren. They're still made with the older "Made to last" craftsmanship. I only use mine every few months but still LOVE it.

That's when I bought mine when Canadian Tire had its sale on. I didn't want to pay 400.00 for it originally. Love mine.
