Are These Chickenpox?

My son came back from visiting his nana & had these bumps on him.Are they Chickenpox,or what ?
TIA.

Looks like my reaction to fleas. Has he had a fever, and does he have this elsewhere on his body?

Are they all over his body?

They look like bug bites to me.

They don't look like chicken pox. They look like mites.

He does not have a fever,& I thought they were bug bites too until they starting spreading.They're just on his hands & his left arm.

Do they itch?

Just watch them. Dd had spider bites that looked EXACTLY like chicken pox and followed the same pattern of getting the puss blister in the middle
Of the red dot, then scabbing in 3 days. dr said it was a spider bite. But when she got real chicken pox it spread faster and ended up all over her. It was diagnosed that time as chicken pox.

That makes me think they're mites. Little tiny female mites burrow into the skin to lay their eggs. Lemme look up the name of them. Okay, it's called scabies and it's really easy to treat. That looks like what he has. If you take him to the Doctor they'll give you a cream for him to wear all over his body overnight and that's it!

I definitely am,I'm pretty sure they're flea bites though,which makes sense considering my mother has two dogs & I don't think she ever puts any flea & tick medicine on them because they're "inside dogs".I'm keeping a very close eye on him though ! How do I get rid of them,if they are flea bites ?

Just keep him from itching them. If they get infected he might need an antibiotic. That's what happens to my dd whenshe gets any big bite. Idk if she's sensitive or slightly allergic but she gets a big bite and it gets awful. And she doesn't even scratch them.

I think I'm probably going to just take him to the doctor.I don't want to take any chances,he's already scratched at one in particular,I'd hate for it to get any worse.Thanks !

poison ivy, sumac, or oak maybe? is there any of that at their house he could've possibly gotten into? when i get that, it usually starts out like that then spreads like you're describing.

I did not think of that,it's definitely possible.
