I got membrane swept today..

i had my dr appt today and im measuring 40 weeks and he swept my membranes today so hopefully labor soon. anyone have this done? did it work?

I had mine swept and I walked across the street to the hospital and had my DD the same day

didnt work-pretty sure thats how i got my infection that caused me to have to get a c-section. same thing happened to another girl at my OB who had hers done within a few days of mine.

i started cramping right after he did it and went to bathroom just a lil bit ago and had some snotty brown discharge. the dr said all this happens so hopefully labor soon  

I had 2 of them done a week apart the first one didnt work, after the 2nd one I went into labor 2 days later but not sure if the is sweep got me going or not.

I went into labor the day after I had mine. But I was already dilated to a 2 and showing other signs, and my OB thought I would have had her in a few days anyway

i was dialated to a 2 and contracting 1 to 4 mins apart as of last night...

This same exact thing happened to me, also not sure if it's what put me into labor.

I had one done with my son at 39w 6d and did a lot of walking after words it was done around 10am and I went in labor with my son around midnight that same night and he was born at 1:48 am I never had any discharge or cramping after it was done nor was I having contractions but all that walking my hubby made me do must have worked...good luck mama

im just so anxious, im having contraction just not dialting quick enough

Nope and i had it done 4 times

I had my son about 12 hours after it was done

just hoping it works for me 

I got mine done today and now I'm having tons of groin pain! It's horrible. I hate having to walk around:/

I had one done @ 39.5w with DD1, delivered next day.
Had one @ 39w with current baby, nothing. We were 3cm and -2 station Baby actually moved up and into an oblique lie (head in hip) @ my 40w appt. Today (41.1w) she is back in position, @ -3 station and I am 3.5cm and she gave me a sweep, a very good sweep. Hoping mine works too..
