What do YOU feed your kid...

(6 yr old) when he/she has a fever?

nothing unless they ask, fluids are more important

Just a fever? No other symptoms?
Whatever he wants. Though he's less hungry usually.

He's 5 1/2.

Whatever she decides she wants to eat. Even if its chips and chocolate. But I dont push foods, only fluids. And popcicles freezies ice cream etc....if she wont drink at all.

Yeah its just a fever, and she hasn't had a fever in years. So just her usual eating? But no milk right?

Fluids are sooo important! Keep that baby hydrated!

I usually try to offer her any type of food i think shell eat when shes feeling bad. Usually i can get her to eat plenty of popsicles and a 7up to keep herbhydrated.

I honestly don't know about the milk thing. Although when he's feeling under the weather I usually get him gatorade.
And at this age he knows when something doesn't sit right, kwim? If he was a baby I'd be pickier but now I just let him eat whatever

Yeah my Mom has always told me no milk while she has a fever because it can sour in her stomach and she'll end up throwing it up. My grandma said that too, maybe its an old fashion thing?. lol....Yeah I have her surrounded with liquids but she does have a decent appetite, not super hungry but decent.

dd has a fever today. she ate some yogurt this morning.
sometimes she'll eat a popsicle. i just make sure she's drinking.
