Low amniotic fluid

posted 3rd Dec
I just got a call from my doctors office and My doctor went over my ultrasound from last week and noticed my amniotic fluid was low. I was dehyrdated and hospitalized two days prior to getting my ultrasound. Would that have anything to do with it?

I'm really worried, and not sure if this is something that may fluctuate since I was dehydrated or if it's something I should not be worried about and is common. This is my first pregnancy and I'm just worried something will go wrong - which is my worst fear.

Yes that can affect your fluid levels. Just make sure to keep it easy, drink a TON of water, and try to avoid salty foods for a bit. That should help boost your levels.
