I was on a birth control for a year and half which it stopped my periods then I recently stopped taking them and had unprotected sex while off them finally after 3 months of being off with them I got my period. then about 4-5 days later after period I got a light pink mucous discharge , now I am confused can i be pregnant? and sometimes I do have cramps in my belly.kinda feel like they are tearing ....

Obviously if you had unprotected sex you could be pregnant, but more than likely your cycle is still messed up from going off birth control and finally getting a period. BTW I don't know what BC you had but It seems very very odd you wouldn't get your period while on it. Most BC should regulate your period.

this birth control is a low estrogen pill.

Why don't you test?

but the dr told me the pills can cause a delay in my hcg levels even though im no longer on them

There's no way if you haven't taken a pill in 3 months that they are going to delay your hcg levels at this point. So you haven't like missed your period yet right? So maybe wait a few more weeks.
