Oh god the pain!!!

I've been having a terrible pain in my right hip for the past 4ish weeks, sometimes its better most of the time its so bad I can barely walk. When I'm at home I actually have to get my boyfriend to help me off the couch. I feel like an invalid not being able to move around normally. And my OB said its only going to get worse. The only thing getting me through is there is only 6 weeks till my due date...
Question is, did anyone else experience intense hip pain to the point you couldn't walk and did you find a way to create relief??

I did experience this! It started at 12 weeks pregnant for me and just got worse and worse! I would wake up literally screaming when I had to roll over in bed. And you could hear my hips popping so loudly that you would think I was breaking in half. I did find relief...after giving birth.

Yes however mine started much earlier i pregnancy and the best relieve i found was stretching and taking some tylenol!! The stretching makes them less stiff and easier to expand which is why they are hurting so bad! I would just sit int he floor like ina butterfly position and drop them as far and wide as i could and hold it! and just keep doing it! they will be sore but the intense pain wont be there!

Oh and two more things that helped besides birth were:
Getting on my hands and knees and rocking and swaying for a while.
Sitting on my yoga ball...for a couple of hours.

I had this from 34 weeks and I found the only way to relieve it was walking every day. It got better the more I walked and eventually went away by 36 weeks.

ive been having really bad hip pain since abour 16 weeks. i find that its not as bad if i dont do as much--which sucks. also i sit on a heating pad a lot which makes it worse for a while but i wake up in the morning feeling a little better. i literally cant walk a lot and it's annoying becuase my mom is always telling me to exercise because she doesnt get it.
also, my husband bought me one of those vibrating back massagers for 4 dollars from target as an early xmas present and hes been rubbing my hip with it which seems to be helping some.
and, i find that if i try to push the baby upward a little it can help with the pain too. nothing has fixed it but some things give me relief for a little while, or make it a little bette.r

I've woken up crying in pain a few times too, my poor boyfriend is at a loss because there is nothing he can do. I've tried walking, tylenol, stretching. My hips kind of grind together or pop when I roll over. Its the worst at work because I get up and down from a chair all day. I can't even stand long enough to do dishes and regular house work anymore because the pain gets so bad. And walking simply makes it worse because I've tried going for walks on my breaks at work and if I go too far I can barely make it back. I have an appointment today but I'm discouraged he'll just tell me what he told me last time, that's its going to keep getting worse. I hope going on maternity leave in 2 weeks helps a bit. And I am praying this little girl decides to come early.

Have you ever hoped the baby will come early just so you're not in pain anymore?? Sleepless nights sound like a good trade for my body to not feel 40 years older than what it is.

My doctor told me the same thing. Every time I move my leg I want to cry. Have you found any methods of temporary relief ?? I find that when I'm in a hot bath it feels a bit better but its just been so severe today.

Im 36 weeks and have been getting pain in both my hips for about 2 months now. I find nothing I do helps. And I hurts most while I'm in bed. I feel like crying everytime I have to roll over and when I get up through the night to pee, it takes me literally 5mins just to get out of the bedroom.....so over it!!!
