I don't follow either army ... I sit on my own in the corner believing that every belief is intricately weaved within each other and nobody is right and nobody is wrong.

no. never saw it.
Janus Rock, on "the map," is off the tip of Australia that is between perth and albany. It's a novel so i dont know if the place exists.
The book is supposedly excellent.

There's a lot of places between Perth and Albany ... I've never heard of Janus rock. There's some old lighthouses in Dunsborough and Augusta but I don't think either of them are called Janus.

This is the Leeuwin lighthouse.

This is Rabbit Proof Fence.

And...that's another reason I chose Hinduism. There is no spiritual war. All paths lead to Enlightenment!

Quoting 6 blessings so far....:" i know there are rules of warfare and those rules allow for capture and imprisonment."

What I have come to understand, is that people are far more comfortable living in a grey area, so to speak.

True Christianity is a hard path and not one that many are willing to take. To "pick a side" is to live in fear of being wrong, I suppose.

However, I agree with you. I think that by not picking a side, you actually are, anyway.

You do know that this "war" results in real deaths, not just spiritual ones, right? Christians are actually killing to spread their message and are being killed by going into places where proselytizing is illegal.

What rules do you play by? Forced conversions? Bribery? They happen.

I believe those so called ''christians'' that are killing to spread ''thier message'' are not christians , they are the devils soldiers. Those Christians that are being killed for spreading the message of salvation are being killed by the devil's soldiers. ''
The only rules of warfare true Christians are to adhere to are using biblical principles to set an example of Christ's love for the world. (Sharing the salvation message and praying for others) Sadly most of those who call themselves christians are totally ignorant to this concept , which is clearly spelled out for them in the Bible

The ''war'' isnt about the ones that have already ''chosen'' a side to support.....their eternity is already written (thankfully God doesnt put a time limit on switching sides, untill the end of this earth) .....its about winning over the souls that are ''sitting in the corner''   to increase the final size of the ''army''

They are priests and nuns. They are told that they are not allowed to convert people, and yet they try. They burn down houses and kill other religious leaders.

So...if it doesn't fit with your "war", they are the devil's soldiers? And, the Bible does tell you to kill non-believers. They are fitting with your Christianity, though they would probably call themselves better Christians than you because they are doing God's work.

And, do you condone people spreading love when that is illegal in the areas that they are going in to? If it weren't for the Christian missionaries, there would be no religious violence in Orissa.

How do you believe conversions should happen? Forced at gunpoint? Bribery? Fear of Hell? Indoctrination?

the bible doesnt tell present day christians to kill nonbelievers. In the bible the hebrew nation had a seperate set of ''rules'' to live by (some of those rules ordained by God, some of them self impossed by the false religous leaders of the time) All of them became irrelivent when Christ died on the cross and ''salvation'' was extended to the ''gentiles'' After Christ sacrifice , we ''believers'' were instructed to share the Gospel by word and example (our lifestyle)
It is very unfortunate that so many ''' false christians '' have given true Christanity such a bad wrap   To answer your question about religous violence for spreading the salvation message where its illegal.....True christians believe a persons eternity is more important than the time spent here on earth.
