I feel ya, my fiance's family has nothing but boys, this is going to be their first granddaughter so they're all super excited. On the other hand, my family is nothing BUT girls. But yeah.. I definitely hope she turns out like her father. I was a hell raiser and I know I couldn't handle a mini-me lol.

And Carmen- Haha yeah, that's how it is in my family too. Mostly girls, and his is mostly boys but in our asian culture Girls are more prized because they stay closer to the family and do more to help out. Kinda sad that they have to look at it that way but I'm not that traditionally narrow-minded so no worries there. I'm not sure if any of you ladies are zodiac crazy but I am and i'm a little worried about having a Diva baby. This year is the year of the snake so their traits tend towards being more independent, keep things to themself, and they want the best of the best. Also if we are having Gemini babies they are more focused and intent on doing things their way. I'm a tad worried about clashing with my baby girl because are signs are pretty opposed. I know, i'm overthinking things. xD

Oh, I feel you! I'm totally into the zodiac thing and I'm worried about having a gemini daughter because every gemini woman I know is cRaZy, they're all about those multiple personalities lol. Every gemini male I know is awesome, but also all about those multiple personalities lol. My brother's a gemini and he's happy and outgoing one minute, then quiet and keeping to himself the next. Really good with his hands though.. he can build anything out of anything lol but yeah.. the women are NUTZZZ!!! And I didn't even think about it being the year of the snake.. good lord..

 ! But yeah.. there are only two Geminis I know more closely, one is my brother in law who is the biggest pain in the butt i've ever known, and the second Gemini is a cousin of mine who concerns me at times. Haha..

I think I'm stressing out about it more because I look at my brother in law who is the biggest hypocrite I know. He's so close minded and he's super stubborn and very selfish. I don't know how I can handle that if that were my little Claire. I'm a very open person and I am big on communication and being upfront about things. It sounds like Claire is going to be very closed off and just wants to do things her own way and not tell you if she has problems of any sort because she thinks she can handle it on her own. That'd drive me crazy!! So.. I have to prep myself for the worst and really try hard to gain her trust and keep my cool if I want her to be more open with me and try to fight against those traits. (assuming she's born a Gemini.)

they changed your due date 3 days??? my due date has been off by like over 5 days since the early days but my OB won't move it back because she said the original date is more accurate (bullsmurf!!) lol.. but little does she know I'VE changed it myself sooo..... haha... she still says june 12 which is based on my LMP but june 8th is based on date of conception WHICH I KNOW. and that's what sh'es been measuring at. BLAH. SHE STILL WON'T CHANGE IT.

ha i'm glad i'm not the only one thinking about this. i swear i was hoping for a boy for the same reason.

i'm not a diva i mean. ;-P

I have two snake brothers.. And they both give me problems for different reasons. I'm close enough to them but when we butt heads it can get pretty intense. I just get upset because they lie to me all the time. They never want to be straight with me because they say snakes don't feel like they need to explain themselves to anybody and would rather not deal with the drama and just cover it up with a lie. But snakes are separated like all Chinese zodiacs by elements. I'm a water pig, husband a water rat, and our babies are water snakes.

Ummm.... So last night I noticed 2 females rabbits pulling their fur out and open bite mark sores. Brought them in, bathed them, checked each. I cannot believe I missed it- the last one has testicles n a penis!!!! Ahhhhhhhh! Separated them and the smallest female (1-2yrs old) was nesting like crazy. Checked just now and she had blood on her paws n nose. Went to pull her out and her whole litter pan "jumped" and pushed fur and toilet paper tubes around- she had babies last night or this morning!!!!! The girls are gonna go crazy! Omg. No wonder she was lovey to me last night.

This morning we meet w a realtor to see some properties. Waiting on a paid in full creditor letter then finish all the bs paperwork to see what we can get pre-approved for. On happy notes- yay 24 wks yesterday- viability TG.

See? This year of the pig has already rubbed a snake the wrong way. I'm telling you, these horoscope things are crazy!!!  

But I apologize if I sound offensive on the zodiac thing. It's not as bad as i'm making it out to be. I still love my brothers and we still get along for the most part. Snakes are pretty close to their families, so no worries about our kids. I just like to read about it to find out some general traits to look out for because this is my first child and on top of wanting to be a good mother, I am hoping my child will teach me how to be a better person in general.

I'm assuming i'm having a Gemini snake if she comes early but if she comes on my due date or later she'd be a Cancer sign like me. Then our emotions can clash head on. lol!

here's some cuteness for ya ladies: taken early this morning,. There's 4. They have hotot (oh toe) markings too. Found out it takes her about 24hrs for milk to come in. Learning lots of stuff lol Thanks for the good vibes- looked at 2 places- 1 was small inside but lots of storage buildings but DIRTY, spider webs everywhere, needs all new appliances. They didn't clean worth a damn. 2nd place is way cheap with 5+ acres and been updated in last 2 yrs. Lots of space. Inside and out. Just needs new cabinets eventually. That's our fav so far.

hey I'll meet ya halfway   still waiting to see if my other unspayed female is preggo or not. I'm just hoping these will thrive. None of my animals have had babies before so it's new to us too. Gonna neuter the male lol So glucose test in the morning ugh. I hate that test. The drink isn't bad it's afterwards I crash, hard. Not like hyper one minute then crash more like finish the drink and I'm ready for a winter's long nap! So on a good note, the 2nd property we looked at is super cheap for having so much land, and it's the realtor guy's mom's place. He said if worse comes to worse and we can't get a mortgage right away for it, she'd be willing to lease it until we could. It's pretty inside. Old as heck, but updated, lots of TN stonework throughout. Giant closets! Etc. Almost 3k sq. ft. Love it. So not a bad day today on this end!

Is it like a farm style house? we have septic systems out here (on the farm lol)
and well everything was up to date and code sept the septic system that is older then my mother even.. needless to say that is 30k the people before didnt want to pay for so they lied and even the inspector didnt catch... just be careful and it never hurts to double and triple check! =) but Having that 5 acres, you are going to love it! Hope you get it!!
