see i need to get something i can take at home like that. The high risk doc said that they dont like putting people on opiates BUT there isnt any research to confirm it can hurt the fetus... it can just cause withdrawal for the baby when he is born if you are on too much... but he said that as long as im not on anything every day then i should be safe and we will just keep an eye on baby when he is born. Im going to talk to my Ob when i go in a week and see if i cant get something like that instead of racking up hospital bills everytime. its exhausting but i dont know what else to do you know? I just wish i could still take my imitrex

see if they will give you straight up ocycodone because it is category B and for some reason percocet is cat C. Not sure why. percocet is just oxycodone and tylenol together. tylenol is cat B also. not sure why together they are C and it may just be lack of data.
they probably won't give it to you because of all of the junkies on oxycontin but it really is the only thing i can safely take that helps me get through a bad headache. not saying it makes it go away like imitrex or my maxalt but it makes it at least tolerable and relaxes you a bit.

Just had my u/s this morning and we're expecting baby BOY #2! I knew it since the day I took the pregnancy test. Boys are catching up to all the girls on this thread!!

Also to the mamas out there with all the scares, just hang in there as best as you can. You are all very strong and you know that. Just keep up the faith and focus on the love you have for that little one inside of you that needs you to be as healthy as possible, and that means body and mind. So keep your rest and just ask the questions you need and don't feel bad about the times that it seems like you have to wig out just to get some answers and reassurance. With our raging hormones and with so many of you already having little ones to chase after, and all of the other issues that like to surface, it's alot to take on at once but you can definitely do it. Our babies are so worth all of this crap that we have to go through! Life is never going to give us a break, so we just have to tough it out as much as we can.

I have faith in you guys. So glad we can be here for one another.

Good Morning Ladies! Congrats to all the mamas who have found out! And welcome all new mamas! I was just thinking that today is my LAST week of being 5 months   Its crazy how fast this pregnancy is flying by! Before we know it our little ones will be in our arms! I have not even let it sink in that OMG im pregnant with ANOTHER baby! And shes always kicking and wiggling to the point it wakes me up at night..forgot what that was like, having another person in there moving. bawhaha And now its over halfway done. How is everyone else handing the "Truth" that our pregnancies are flying by??

my 4 yr old is sick with a flu like virus. i'm so scared of getting sick again but not really sure how to prevent it as she sleeps with me.

lots of vitamin c and air out the house? You could also stick a cut in half onion by your bed and by morning it should be black with all the bacteria/sickness, then just replace it. dd2 had the flu for 3wks and she slept with us during it and we never got sick. Idk how but only she got it, even dd1 missed it. We didn't do anything special though, except hubby takes a 1 a day vitamin thing. But he works in a nursing home so he can't afford to get sick.

Ugh last night the house right behind us caught fire. No flames just lottttts of smoke. 3-4 firetrucks, lots of cops and other responders. The occupants weren't home but there was lots of drama too. Apparently someone got arrested and someone yelled about cooking meth   the house is taped off but the large shed out back is insulated and has electricity so the teen and his chick are living there now. Crazyness. The way our window sits in the kitchen it honestly looked like the smoke was pouring out of our shed. And the cop car parked behind it didn't help calm me down any lol Those ppl just moved in too after the landlord fixed it up all summer. So sad.

lol with all you poor things have to put up with on top of the pregnancy, its a wonder how we can keep it together during these times. Again, it keeps making my little complaints seem so insignificant. I really feel for you guys.

As far as time going by fast, I guess it technically is even though for me it feels like forever. I am way too anxious about the baby so I honestly wish it were June already. I just want my baby here! For any first time moms that have an Ipad, I recommend downloading the Birth Class app by BabyCenter. It's helping me prepare for the prenatal classes and giving me insight into making sure I have my bags packed a tad early in case the little one decides she's not really interested in adding another cancer sign to the family.
