I'd.switch. I love both docs and although my perinatal doc usually has a 2 hr wait he spends 30 mins at least scanning u and is super sweet and anything he questions he researches for you! So I'd def find someone u like. My regular ob is amazing to! He has been my doc with all of my kids.

Yeah i've had a pretty lousy experience all this time. I will definitely switch doctors. Even the nursing staff gave me wrong advice when giving me my test results. She was not only unprofessional at how she told me but she was terribly misinformed. And my OB just dismissed my concerns of low Vitamin-D results on my labwork and i've come to find out that my Endocrinologist thinks it would really help my hypo-thyroid to take the supplements! I didn't even realize just how important it is to keep up your Vitamin-D and that its considered a hormone. I need somebody who is going to actually listen to my concerns and take the time to explain things to me rather than just ask me if I have any questions and reply to every one with a "that's normal."

i had low vitamin D levels too !! which is super weird since i've never ever had that before.
I'm taking 1000mg of D a day now in addition to whatever is in my prenatal and calciumm pills.
must be some sort of pregnancy induced deficiency!

Hi everyone I'm due June 15

Hey ladies! Just thought I'd check in and say I've finally started feeling the baby kicking and hubby even got to feel a couple of kicks last night. ^-^ Our son seems to be most active in the evening and around midnight. Also, I have an anatomy scan on Tuesday...praying for news that our boy is still a boy! lol. Hope everyone has been doing well.  

Check it out... I was bored and decided to play around with some yarn and crochet well I ended up making this for my baby girl. Its made out of stretching yarn.

Omg! That set is the cutest thing! My hubby liked it too. He was like Aww!

I am 110% with you! My cousin and I are only a few days apart she is praying for a boy (she already has 2 girls) and I am praying for a little girl!(will be my first) My mother is enjoying driving me bonkers saying its going to be a boy. The heart rate has been on the high side at around 160 (which is said to be a girl if above 140). I am 19weeks 5 days today I go in friday for my ultrasound! Send the Little girl prayers my way please!!!!!

Did anyone go by any of the "old wives tales" and have them be right?
Like heart rate, or if the baby is setting high or low? any of those?

ok I kinda feel the same about my doctors, we have hypo-thyroid problems in the family and my mother thinks I have an over active hypo- thyroid, i have brought this up to my doctor and its like anything i tell him goes in one ear and out the other... I have started going to the chiropractor i have to go twice a week because i am having a lot of pain because of my sciatic nerve. Already having a very bad back my chiropractor said this will help a lot with the pregnancy! I recommend all you ladies go get an adjustment i was scared at first but oh my gosh did it ever help!
I am pushing almost 6 foot and i am just now starting to show. I scared one of the poor boys at my work when he asked how far along i was LOL i told him half way and he about fell over, he looked at me and was like "half way?! Shouldnt you be huge by now?!" I just laughed!

lol I dunno about the wives tale thing. I was all into the chinese gender prediction thing. It kept turning up girl but sometimes it said boy. They said if you crave sweet its a.. girl? and sour is boy? But I crave sour and sweet! Also I heard if you carry low its a boy and high is a girl but i'm carrying low.

So I dunno!!! It almost seemed like the majority of the family vote was what dictated it. Baby girl it is. I actually really need your ladies' help on the name. I am going to name her Clarity, but I don't know which spelling looks better:

Clarity (the way its meant to be spelled) or Clairity? Her short name will be Claire which is why I liked the second but my husband thinks its confusing! :/

I did! My first was a girl and her heart rate the whole time was mid 180s. I just found out I'm having another girl and hers has been 163 -170. My nephew was in the 120s.

This worked for me too it didn't fizzle and all the Chinese things said girl!
