re: Official June 2013 Due Date Buddies (Pt. 3)

Lucky you! I used to be that easy. I used to just get out of the shower at night, and clip my hair up and sleep with it in and in the morning when I took out the clip my hair was perfectly wavy and I never needed to do anything else to it. Now because of all the stress i've lost so much hair so it's super hard for me to get it styled and covered.

So has anybody planned out any outfits for their newborn pictures just yet? I found a bunny crochet outfit I want but I just don't have the money to buy it just yet.

I've always had long hair bc it's been permed n straightened when I was little like every other week, it's got waves n it curls in awkward spots. I grow it out for important things like wedding, vow renewal, but w each baby I chop it off n I go shorter n shorter each time. I tell the stylist "the shorter it is the more hubby loves it". He likes my long hair, but he quickly falls in love w the short cuts. This last cut I have to straighten it, which isn't that much of a hassle to do.

Eh been thinking about which outfit for his pics, but MIL usually gets the coming home outfit (eyeroll). I have a few in mind though, but... Hubby's cousin just had her baby boy- 10lbs5ozs n over a week due. dd1 was 8lbs9ozs 3 days over, dd2 was 7lbs11ozs a week early. I won't be surprised if Aaron pushes 9lbs if he goes overdue n NB clothing is up to 8lbs.

That's true.. I ended up buying a huuuuge lot of girl clothes off of a lady on Craigslist and i'm getting pummelled with even more outfits from every which way so there's way too many clothes for her to even wear and who knows which ones she'll end up fitting when she's born. I guess I kinda jumped the gun on the outfits so I hope I didn't just waste a crap ton of my $$$.

I'm praying I don't get any outfits for the baby shower.

That's one thing u don't realize- ull never run outta baby clothes. Dd1 is now in small children's like 4-5 x smalls n we finally ran outta clothes for her. Even w dd2 I kept all the baby clothes so had plenty and even though I told everyone no more I got a crap ton at the baby shower. Since its a boy this time we got rid of everything girly- clothes esp. I had 3 large trash bags n that was only NB to 12 months. I kept the gender neutral plus random boy clothes I've been saving when I was helping a friend out. Aaron is set til 6-9 months. I have a xl storage bag in the closet full plus like 30+ outfits hanging up. It may seem like u have a lot, which u might, but babies spit up, have blow out diapers, and need multiple changes a day. Better to have more.

YES! I agree, my son never had to go without clean clothes, lol. I had 3-4 bags of hand me downs from family, mostly 3-18months. I got rid of it all by donating and now we're expecting again   . I wish I would have kept some of it just in case this peanut is blue. I have to restart the collection all from the beginning because SO feels like it would be tacky/complicated to have another shower since it's our second baby.

& How cute momma!! I keep complaining about how my bump is all misshaped but I feel like I will blow up this upcoming month..

My husband hates short hair, his mom has really long hair too. He said after the military he despises woman with short hair but i think he has always had a thing for long hair because of his mom. either way once it passes mid back its intense lol especially when you have thick hair! Mine is pretty thick so its a lot and the curls make it tangle. I never straighten or blow dry because it causes damage. I mostly just let it air dry and braid it or put it up. when im going out ill curl it soft curls or straighten it but not often because i dont like to process my hair

Newborn pics... I ha ve not even gotten to the point of actually accepting my pregnancy and the up coming addition! I know its there but its in the back of my mind. I only have 4 outfits for him so far lol EKK But my shower isnt until april 7th so its ok. April is going to be a BUSY prep month for me.

Heehee, my shower is on the same day as yours, and I'm gonna be busy getting things ready too in April. The renovations are gonna be done in a couple of days so I have a lot of stuff to do.. I haven't had a follow up ultrasound yet so I hope the previa has improved. If they put me on bed rest I'm screwed!

I'm tiny to begin with so that has a lot to do with it.
I got HUGE (gained 45lbs) with my first and it was not a god look on me! Haha
But with my second only gained 17lbs. So far with this one I have gained 10lbs as of my 23 week appt. I go again in a week and I think I've gained 2 more lbs.

I am due June 10th, expecting a princess

Welcome Nana! I wish I was moved up to earlier June as opposed to later. I'm so anxious to hold her in my arms already. Ugh!!!

How have you ladies been doing? I've been getting SUPER moody lately. Yipes. I'm like constantly in a cranky mood and ready to snap like a slim jim. It's pretty terrifying. I randomly cried the other night out of frustration and my husband was like "Er.. don't cry hun.." It was kinda funny from an outsider's perspective but totally lame. Haha..  

Only thing cheering me up is my 4-D session on Sunday. Praying she'll cooperate! Can't wait to share with you ladies.

Eeeeek, my 4D ultrasound is next Wednesday! I'm so excited! You guys will definitely be seeing a ton of pictures. Hopefully she cooperates (last ultrasound she had her hand over her face). I think my fiance' is more excited than I am hahah. It makes me so happy that he's so excited about our baby girl being here. Last night he kept talking about how awesome it's gonna be once she's here, I feel like June is right around the corner!

I decided to use some of my vacation time and take a long, four day weekend before she gets here. Unfortunately, the only available time was the first week in June.. I'm hoping I don't go into labor while I'm taking my mini vacation (I'm not going anywhere, I just wanted some time to relax while I can). I'm afraid I'm going to jinx myselt and end up popping during that weekend hahah.
