Forward facing car seat

LO is almost 5 months. I know its still a little early for him to be facing forward but I'm going to go ahead and ask this before I forget....again lol. So 6 months is the minimum age for them to face forward but it's better to wait as long as possible right? DS is almost ready for a booster seat so I figure LO will be ready to face forward about the time DS is ready for a booster seat. Which is in a couple months. Would it be safe to use the front facing car seat for LO? Its a car seat like this


Or would I need to get a different one?

No. 12 months and 20lbs is the minimun to face forward.

And at just over 2, your other child doesn't need to be in a booster.

you need to wait til LO is AT LEAST 12 months AND 20lbs before you forward face them, although it's recommended to keep them rear facing longer then that

Who in the hell told you 6 months was the minimum to face-forward  

You can not legally forward-face a baby until 12 months AND 20 lbs, but it's recommended to stay rear-facing til 3 years AND 30 lbs.

We kept Addison RF to 3 years old in a Convertible. She now Forward faces in a 5 point harness in a Graco Nautilus.

You reallly need to read up on the laws and research safer options.

yea, my 4 yr old is still not in a booster.

the law is 12 months AND 20lbs. Please don't put your childs life at risk.

My mums friend had a baby 7 weeks ago, it's her 4th kid so you'd think she'd know....she asked my mums boss how the baby is meant to be sitting..turns out the smurfing baby is facing FORWARD!

Addy's that same height but sill only 35lbs...she's been that weight for like 6 months. lol
