Baby ktan vs. Moby wrap?

posted 2nd Dec
Reviews on each would be awesome, whichever one you have or have used.

Baby is coming in 9 weeks and being a stay at home mommy, I'll need a sling I can trust so I can comfort baby while doing college classes, cleaning, cooking, going on walks, etc. (I'm aware I don't have to hold baby 24/7, but, when I do need the extra hands.)

Also, are either of these slings able to hold baby in a way where I can breast feed at the same time? (I'm a big multi tasker, haha.)

I didn't like the idea of wrapping and trying to juggle baby so I paid the money for a k'tan and it's my favorite. Easy as 1-2-3 and I still use it and baby is 21 lbs and still fits well. It doesn't really get heavy.

Also look at getting a ring sling. I love my sling or hammock too, because I can sit baby on my hip when I'm doing something quickly.

ETA: I never breastfed in one, but definitely a ring sling if that's what your looking for.

The only think I have been able to breastfeed a newborn in is a ring sling so far. Moby never works well for that for me. You also never know what one your newb will like, i had 4 when she was born and she hated them all and i had to get a ring sling.

I use the mobu wrap.. And with a little tweaking and adjusting I can breastfeed DS when he's in it... It's a total life saver especially right now cuz he's going through a growth spurt and he's extra clingy...

We have the Moby for Asher. He is 2 months old and loves being in it, it's easy to wrap it on before you go somewhere, then just slide him in when you get there. It comfortable for me and him.

Excuse the oily hair.

I had a Mei Tai and LOVED it! He's going to be 2 and I think he still fits in it. If I was to find it, and if he wouldnt try to pull my hair out.

i reccomend a Boba wrap over a moby, you can wrap it tighter because its stretchier, so it doesnt feel like sooo much fabric. I didnt like the k'tan because of the fit, but I got a Boba wrap for the new baby & am able to wear my toddler in it now that my Boba ssc has become uncomfortable due to the pregnancy. (im a Boba whore lol) It holds its shape so well. I have a sweet pea ring sling too, and its great but my son is too heavy for it on one shoulder.
