Is it possible to have extra wisdom teeth? I've had my 2 bottom ones pulled about 2 years ago. Now I'm having the same pain and swelling on the bottom left side. It's really hard and feels like another tooth is coming in.
yes. people can have extra teeth. they are called supernumerary teeth. With wisdom teeth one of them is most of the time smaller, they can even be attached to the normal wisdom tooth. I saw them a few times when I was working. And the opposite can happen. people can be missing teeth genetically
I had 3 wisdom teeth on each side on the bottom and an extra on each side on the top - I have extremely bad teeth as it is, it felt so much better to get them out.
