Nipple stimulation

I have heard people talking about this and a couple of my friends have said it before. what i would like to know is how does making your nipples hard and playing with them going to make you go into labor or is it just an old wives tale or is there more to it then just that....

  I tried it when i was pregnant with my son and idk if it was coincidence or not but a couple hours later i was in labor.

It does make you have contractions, but mine stopped twenty mins after I quit.

I've heard this too, honestly I'm not even sure what it means.

to me thats weird because i wouldnt think that something like that could trigger it i'm not going to try it or anything i was just wondering if it was true

well it releases oxytocin the natural form of pitocin (labor inducer) the only problem is it can bring on long TOO strong contractions and can cause harm. if your going to do it you need to research it, there is certain methods you use.

oh i know i'm not ready yet i was just wondering because so many people have been teling me about it i figured i would ask some BG mommas and see if it were true

I tried it when i was pregant with my daughter, and i had her in my arms 6hrs after the contractions started. The only problem was mine started off really intense.
