back hurts and cramps

im having cramps and back pain. they are constant. im afraid to go to L&D because im afraid they will send me back home. is that a normal feeling? should i wait to see if the pain stays or goes. i am 39 weeks

They'll ask you how far apart they are and how long they're lasting. Time them for an hour first.

start to time them and if they are regular and depending on how far away from hospital you live you may want to get things ready sounds to me like it could be the real thing if they are constant I would leave your house if they are 5 mins apart or closer unless you live far away and maybe call L&D to let them know...good luck mama

If the cramps worsen, go in. For now it sounds like typical end of pregnancy pains. Body getting ready for labor and whatnot.
