If the court already has proof of him being a horrible parent, what do you really have to lose by telling him the date of court?   nothing.

I made made my point. You did the right thing by telling him if you want the process to be over and done with. really. What's more important. Making him look horrible or moving on with your damn life? Smh.

She could have told him, hey Im pregnant and didnt want anything to do with it. He could be causing problems. Uhh... though i've been there and done that with being a single mom, and know how hard it is & how stressful court stuff is, we've made amends and all is well in our family now...i'm far from bitter.

Uh, have you been to court, like, ever?
If he didn't show up, she would most likely be awarded everything she is asking. She would get what she deserves, as well as her child.
The court's DO THAT because if a parent does not show up, it makes them look irresponsible and the court's recognize that as a judge of character, and they will award the remaining parent with what they are asking for in the case.
This is what the COURT decides.
Nothing would be prolonged. If he didn't show up, they would not reschedule the court date. They would just have the court session without him, because he was too irresponsible to show up on his own, like an adult.
You are saying things that are just not true. I just don't know any other way to put it.
