TMI???38 weeks and thinking I am in early labor???TMI

Ok so for the last 3 days I have been miserable. I was having contractions 6 mins apart and then they start becoming sporatic. They seem to be getting worse they just werent consistent anymore. Now all I feel is lower back pain... with occasional front contrations. Do you think this could be the start of labor? Also I have been having the runs all day =( I litterally am afraid to fart cause I think it wont be just a fart. I'm sorry I know TMI but I have never been in labor my 3 girls where all c-sections planned. What where your labor experiences?

i would say its labor..im having my son by c section   on 12/12 & ive been having alot of the same things your talking about.... just keep watching/timing your contractions  

agreed, it sounds like labor. Just keep moving around and keeping the contractions going. I was in labor 2-5mins apart for 6 hours before I went to the hospital were I was 6cm dilated.

Thanks, I'm just nervous cause my doctor isnt on call till the day of my c-section which friday. The doctor that is on call delivered my 2nd because my water broke and he literally butchered me. I was bruised from my belly button to my vagina. Never did I bruise with either of my other c-sections. So I refuse to be seen by him. Which means I will have to go to a different hospital which is a hour away =( I just wish I would get a deffinate ok mom I am on my way, time to go to the hospital. Ok If my water would break that would be amazing.

Its labor but that can go on for a while just keep timing your contractions

What everyone else said. Sounds like labor. Just keep an eye on the timing and what your body is telling you.

just a tip from my doctor, if you go on a walk, even just around your house for a while and our contractions stop, it's false labor. If they keep going and get stronger and shorter apart it's real labor.
Couple of things:
1- What's the point in having an actual doctor if he isn't willing to come in when you are in labor, and you are stuck using the on call doctor?
*that isn't directed towards you, but more the policy of your hospital* At my hospital they call my actual doctor when you are in labor, the only time you are stuck with on-call is if it's too far into labor for your doctor to get there in time
2-From the sounds of it the on-call must not know what his is doing very well, and an hour drive isn't that far if you drive a little faster lol.

Thanks I will try the walking around thing and see what happens. And I agree about the doctor being called. I hate that he isnt there. Why cant they just call him =(

He might have it set up where he isn't called, which is smurffy. I was actually lucky that my doctor was on her way to the hospital when I showed up, both times. I went in 3 days before I went into labor bc I thought my water broke, and she came in like 10 mins later lol. And then when I actually went into labor the same thing happened.
