i have no idea. what contraception to get???

Im 8 weeks pp and i still have no idea what i should get. What do you find works best for you ?

It really just depends on what might work best for you. Can you remember to take a pill every day? Would you be okay with hormonal BC? Do you want to have a surgical procedure?

I would recommend Against any conception at this point!

I'm assuming you mean contraception. I plan on going back to the regular pill that I used to be on when I was a teenager. Ortho Tricyclen Lo.

I'm going back on the depo. Worked well for me in the past and it's only every three months

Did it give you any bad side effects? I've only ever used the pill and never remembered to take it

For some people it does.. I think weight gain and constant periods are the main ones. Then there's loss of bone density if you're on it for too long, which can lead to osteoporosis (sp? may have the wrong disease there as well). I lost weight and didn't have a period for six years, and got a positive pregnancy test 8 months after I came off it. I was lucky though, some people gain weight, bleed constantly and it takes years for them to get pregnant after they come off it. You can always try it and if you have bad side effects try something else. two shots is six months protection and that's long enough to see how it'll affect you but not long enough to do any damage.

Im Aussie and have the 'multiload' as they call it here. In the US they call it the paragard. Its a non-hormonal IUD.
