Oh ok. We have to pay full price for the dating and dont get anything back. Full price for the other 2 but normally get a lot of it back. If you have a healthcare card you get them completely free. Sucks.

Sooooo, i just called to cancel my sono tmrw( i was gonna be charged $150) . Like i said dr. Did not request it, i did. I guess i needed to know if everything is fine..? Baby is very active and etc. I feel like a horrible person or mom now... As if they (dr and staff) might think i dont care. Blah.

i can't believe they make women pay for ultrasounds.. you should be able to have as many as you want (to an extent) i would just say you're worried about the position on the baby or something, then wouldn't they give you a free one?

They haven't put me on high risk or anything but i've had 4 so far. My dating scan at 9 weeks, one at 13 thought I was m/c, then anatomy at 20, and one last week because of issues with my blood they were checking to see if he was growing and checking his fluid levels. But i've heard 2 is the normal amount. I am actually still wondering if they had to give me one recently at 26 weeks to check that if they will again.
