My LO will be 6 months old on the 17th and he too recently learned how to scream instead of cry when he's angry. But he's been a crier since birth so..

And holy hell, 12 hours of sleep? Can we trade?!

He's never really screamed instead of cry -- it was more for fun. He'd scream his head off, then smile like "did you hear that???" haha...it was cute in the beginning...although he doesn't do it anymore that much. The whining has taken over completely! I'd gladly take the screaming over the whining.

He doesn't sleep for 12 hours anymore   It was so nice. I never expected to have such a good baby (because my Mom tried to curse me with a "bad" baby, since I was a monster for the first 4 years of my life...lol) I was never able to relate to the always-tired-because-I-have-a-baby mother's....now I can relate. Coffee has become my new best friend

My first son was AMAZING. Never cried, slept through the night at 4 months, put himself on a great schedule. He was so predictable and easy. With this baby I can honestly say after 5 1/2 months I still have no clue WTF I'm doing. It's like being a new mother all over again, except with a new, temperamental baby everyday lol.

That's how my LO is!...err...was...haha

SUPER easy going and laid back...I was like, "damn, sign me up for another one! Let's get this smurf done all at once if babies are this easy!" Then just within the last few weeks he's turned into something else. I often wonder if I accidently forgot my real baby at Walmart or something, and took another one home by mistake

Lol aww, she could be teething. Does she clamp down on everything? Are her cheeks red? Lots of drool?

Oh ya, he's definitely teething...it just seems to be bothering him really bad now (unless there's other issues with him I'm not aware of) Usually when he's teething, he'll just chew and drool...never whines this much. Does it get worse before it gets better? Is this a sign that his teeth are on the verge of poking through?

Oh, HE. Duh.   They might be but you can never really be sure until you actually see them. Some babies handle pain easier than others.

Aww. Poor guy. As soon as the first one pokes through it will be easier on him and you.

Ive had a week and a half of my daughter (she is just over 6 months) waking up 2-3 times in the night and then at 6 am (she has been sleeping through from 9 weeks) if it makes you feel any better.
I knew it was different from whinging shed done before and low and behold 2 days ago a tooth broke through, then another yesterday and I can see another about to break through in the next couple of days or so.
He may be like her and be getting a few through at once and im pretty sure I wouldnt be a happy bunny either lol.

I hope so! I hate seeing him like this   I really don't mind waking up at night with him, but it's the whining and fussiness that makes me sad....poor bean

I know what you mean, thankfully my LO seems in a better mood today and her other side effects from the teething (nappy rash and the runs) have cleared up as well now so fingers crossed shes on the mend. . for now at least
