Castor Oil.

I'm just curious if any of you tried it and if it actually put you in labor?
I have heard sooo many things, it's just hard to go by what everyone says.
Just curious though, I'm not doing it. Just wanted to know everyones thoughts on it and if they did try it, if it helped or not.

Nope never would. It will give you the smurfs and most likely not put you into labor.

Dont do it. Its just going to give you the smurfs. And let the baby come on its own.

My friend did, it did put her into labor but she also had the smurfs WHILE giving birth

I never done it but I have a friend who took it for two of her pregnancies and it worked both times.

It's a laxative... No I haven't tried it but I know someone who did. She didn't go into labor.

If you're not going to try it, why ask for other people's experiences?

I have a few friends who say it works and they do it. But I never tried. I was afraid it will give me the smurfs and i would smurf while pushing baby out..lol
But I did get tired of being pregnant with number 2 so I did light exercise and got my groove on...made sure I got off real good and BOOM! she was out the next afternoon. my water broke in my sleep and the only one i did not get induced for.

OP, some doctors and midwives still recommend it. Once the baby is overdue, of course. Most people are stupid about it, though, and do it without a doctor's supervision.

I know someone who took that. Apparently it worked.. Yes car oil.

Op, i have never tried it, and i never will. I don't think it is worth the risks to baby, and i don't feel like smurffing my brains out lol
