I had an abortion in 2009, and got pregnant with my now two year old in 2010. Had a D&C in October of 2011, and am due with a little girl in May of 2013.
How far along were you when you had it done?

Did you take the abortion pill, or opt for the surgical abortion?
and did you have a cstndard check up about two weeks after?
My guess is that it is not a factor, many people TTC really hard and can't get pregnant because all the sperm are fighting each other and too busy to get to the egg lol.
I've heard if you don't have sex for the week before ovulation and then do so right around ovulation, you're chances of getting pregnant are higher.
I am of course no expert, however.

Surgical. I didn't look enough into it, and honestly didn't realize until after the fact that there was a pill.

And I truly don't remember if I went to a check up after or not. That's a part of life I barely remember anything about  

It's just a fear. At the time, another baby wouldn't have been a good thing. We could barely take care of ourselves and DD, let alone another baby. I regret it every single day though.

Well like I saidI really doubt the abortion is the reason.
You should talk wit h your OB about it and see what they think. There's medication you can take like Clomid to help you get pregnant tool.

I had an abortion (surgical, 11 weeks) in June this year and caught pregnant again in October. I just had another abortion last week and my husband has promised we can TTC when the time is right so I hope I find my fertility as unaffected from the second one as it was from the first one!

have you tried charting? get a digital thermometer and sign up to fertility friend website, it does it all for you it helps you time it right xx
