Ooooh is that the marathon? I loved mine, and was so sad when it expired last month.

yeah. she has a few lbs to go and then i am getting rid of it. it expires soon, so no point in keeping it for new baby. plus, it's a similar design as the one i showed, but it has a pink background and the yellow flowers. new baby is a boy, so... lol. but, yeah we loved it too!!

I would get a seat that will harness him for awhile longer. By putting them in a booster, you are putting them in charge of their own safety. They need to be able to sit still 100% of the time, no leaning to grab a toy or being wiggly, putting the belt behind their back, falling asleep, etc. If the belt is not on them correctly in a crash, it can cause serious injuries. Most kids just plain do not have the impulse control to handle it until age 5 or 6, sometimes longer.

And when you do make the switch, you want to go to a highback booster until that is outgrown. It will give some side impact protection.

Remember, every step "up" in carseats (rearfacing to forward facing to booster) is a step down in safety and you really want to keep them in each stage as long as you possibly can.
