Horrific pregnancy Dreams
posted 2nd Dec
Ok i just wanted to see if anyone else was having disturbing dreams i'm only nearly 9 weeks pregnant and the last few nights iv been having horrible vivid and real feeling dreams nothing about pregnancy or a baby so this afternoon i go take a nap then i swear i can smell burning bacon and hear the doors slamming downstairs so i wake up and nothing was so odd i swear i could smell it then i go back to sleep and all of a sudden i hear rustleing and then like something small was walking across the bed and then something furry was on my arm and chest sniffing at me i wake up instantly ( i have a big phobia of rats or mice and have no cats or dogs and no way is there anything in this house) I'm beginning to feel really drained because they wake me up in the middle of the night constantly just wish was something i could do to get rid of them i tried thinking of nicer things before i go to sleep but it doesn't help

I didn't get any until well into my second trimester. Wait until to dream about SO leaving you stranded and pregnant for an ex. Or just in general. Luckily I only had one nightmare of losing her, and it was while losing her, it was post. Like I was talking to someone and I apologized for some reason like "Sorry I lost the baby.."
It sucks.

That's what i don't understand with both of my boys i didn't get them until 2nd-3rd trimester but they were never as bad as this these actually freak me out it's horrible that they feel real like i once had one that a shark attacked me and it's like i could feel it chomping into my leg >.<

I haven't had any like that. But I have had some where my boy comes out a girl, I forget him at home or I forget to feed him. I had one where I gave birth to a doll with a kizz painted face & I was so affraid of him I forced my SO's disabled mother to adopt him. And most recently I had one where I gave birth to a perfect healthy...kitten.
Very strange dreams...

I've only had one vivid dream that was super horrific and I woke up so upset I started telling SO and I sobbed. :/ I was probably around 8-9 weeks, too...I haven't had one like that again thank god.

Lol maybe more hormones. Maybe you're having a girl.

Ahh no, I know what you mean! I''m about 10 weeks (find out for sure next week) and these past few nights have been hell. I dreamt about a pack of wolves chasing me and biting my leg (could actually feel it) and then the next night I dreamt I was driving and hit a grizzly bear, and then it gathered all it's friends up and hunted me. Not cool at all. I don't remember having these dreams until much later in my pregnancy the first time.

Don't feel bad I have been doing the same thing since around 8 weeks and I am 20 weeks now. I have horrible dreams to where I actually wake up terrified or if I am in pain in my dream I wake up hurting. Last night I had a dream that I broke my hand and my hand has been sore all day. I think it is just hormones messing up my mental. Just try relaxing or staying up later to where when you fall asleep you absolutely pass out. Don't worry about it, it's not anything that will happen every night it did for me in the beginning but now I maybe have a bad dream one time a week!

I wake up really upset with SO sometimes, LOL it's really quite amusing after a while. Once you learn to shake them off. I've dealt with night terrors since I was 3 so nightmares don't bother me. My favorite right now! Is having her while in the zombie apocalypse. That one gets me sometimes.

Lol i had a weird one last night but it was more enjoyable than the others was rescued by a hot vampire lol (nothing like that sparkley edward dude though) just hope i get more of those instead of being bitten or attacked by rats lol

I've had a few dreams where I was pregnant during the zombie apocolypse as well. The worst dream that I had though was about my baby's birth. I had him and I was surrounded by my family, my fiance, the nurses, and the doctor. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up everyone was gone and the baby was crying. I got up and picked the baby up, and walked into the hall. There was no one there either. I walked through the abandoned hospital carrying the crying baby and end up outside. I still find no one.
The weirdest dream that I had involved me being held hostage be Saddam during a snow storm. It was the Saddam from South Park too. No idea what was up with that one.
