Can someone find some legit medical sites explaining the use/risks of Cytotec to induce labor? I'm searching google, and can't find any medical sites.

Nope. My dad thinks i'm crazy for listening to people on the internet because "not everything is true" and i want some legit info to show him how bad it really is. I plan to completely refuse it.

Because she posted previously asking something similar and some people told her not to, including me. She's heard some stories and keeps asking :/

thats what my parents think too. the link i found i dont think were medical sites but one was a pretty legit site.

He told me i should discuss it with my doctor, and they would do what they thought was best. Pointed out it was cheaper, and of course they would push it. Ultimately, its my decision, just trying to make him understand the risks and why i'm refusing it.

epocrates.com is the only medical site i use anymore.
Doctors, nurses, and NPs use it. It is trusted.

That's understandable. I doubt the doctors would say it's bad if they wanted to use it in the first place -_- I think they'd push you on it too

I really don't understand why ANY healthcare professional is still recommending this drug for induction of labor.

Sadly, my hospital uses it just because its so cheap. Straight from the doctors mouth *sigh*
