Raw honey

someone else has probably already asked this...but is it ok to eat Raw honey while pregnant? My sons dr. recommended it for seasonal allergies and i'm just curious if i could eat it too.

Not if its not pasturized.

I did. I'm sure someone would have something to say about it but I was never too worried about it.

Would it say on a bottle of store bought honey if it is or not? Because ours doesn't.

It should. You should also look at the ingredients of store bought honey to see if it really is all honey. A lot of it comes from China and is mixed with high fructose corn syrup because real honey is expensive!

It says 100% Real Honey and nothing else.

idk but I ate/eat raw local honey and my daughter and this baby are healthy. And my allergies are better.

I would and honestly, I eat raw, local honey and it helps with my allergies (I give it to LO and my DH, too) and we are all fine.
