lol...it's really not any different than my not-pregnant eating habits. I'm really not that big...my 'fat' jeans are about a size 6/28.

Yay! More baby boys! Congrats, ladies.  

We got all the paperwork straightened out on our new car today and decided to do lots of running around since it uses less gas than our old one. After being in and out of the car all day my hips are killing me! I'm not looking forward to 3 1/2 more months of this, but then again, just saying "3 1/2 more months" makes it sound like no time at all!  

Trying to get things together for Ava's birthday party next weekend - She's turning 3 already! *sniffle*

My daughter was breech and offered to deliver her breech if I chose! He is just awesome though and turned her and I had an awesome normal delivery.

He also offered a c section if I chose. Ummm no way!

I realize that most doctors would just automatically do the section  

Just got home from my amnio.

They did a scan prior, and the echogenic part of her bowels was bigger today than it was prior. The spot behind my placenta seemed roughly the same, but he is saying now he's not sure if it's a blood clot or some kind of mass. I feel almost like this is just...about as productive as beating my head against a wall. This is the third damn opinion that's been floated about this same area! I'm very frustrated. Lola's heart rate was 138.

The amnio portion went as well as can be expected. It hurt like hell, and for a few minutes I didn't know if I was going to cry, puke, or pass out. I ended up doing none of the above though. Because of the way her umbilical cord was laying, it was hard to get a good pocket of amniotic fluid to draw from. There was cord in almost every decent size pocket, so we had to go with a smaller pocket that was closer to Lola than they prefer. They withdrew the sharp portion as quick as they could so it was just the blunt catheder-ish part left, which was good...if her eyes weren't fused shut, I would swear she tried to grab the needle. When they rechecked her heartbeat, it had gone up to 158, still in a very healthy range...he said it was a good response that since I was stressed/in pain, her heart rate responded but didn't go TOO high.

He wants to do a fetal echocardiogram in 4 weeks, and then starting at 28 weeks, he wants to do a growth scan/biophysical profile weekly until 32 weeks, and then do them twice weekly. So by the time little Lola gets here, we're going to have a LOT of pictures....Shame we have as many things to worry about as we will have pictures.

I'm also very proud that I did not smurfing KILL Chris' mother through the course of the appointment and the ride to/from. God damn, the woman would not shut up. The entire way home, I had to listen to HER report of how "perfect" this pregnancy is and how everything's perfect and her kids were all born perfect and.....uh, what? Did you not just sit through an almost hour and a half high-risk appointment with me, where they went over our risk of a stillbirth because of the stuff that isn't going right? Like..I think she was trying to comfort herself, and try to convince herself everything is going to be fine, but like...for real, it was just frustrating to listen to since I had just listened to the doctor tell me otherwise.

Home now and on bedrest for the next 48 hours...I've locked the door so his Mom can't come over, and I'm going to just chill on the couch and watch some netflix.
