Yeah i dont know what to think. I think im more preparing my husband for another girl haha. He wanted to find out so bad and im not, i thought about finding out and then not telling him if it was a boy, and if it was a girl id tell him so he could get used to the fact that he was never having a boy lol. but i cant bring myself to do it.

Phuket: I can't suggest counseling enough... and if he refuses, then may as well just end things since he's not interested in fixing them sadly. *tight hug* I hope he agrees and works on things though. We did counseling and it totally changed our relationship. We were bad off for a while too.

Surprises: My DD was a surprise not by choice. She wouldnt show us at the scan and I decided she'd stay a surprise. I loved it. It avoided gender disappointment. I'd do it again this time but Hubby wants to know... so since I got my way the first time I'm letting him get his way this time.

So... good news. Everything is fine with myself and baby. Bad news; since I went to the ER and had an ultrasound, I won't be getting my 20wk anatomy scan. So if I want to see the baby myself (I didn't get to at the ER nor got pictures) and to find the gender, I'll have to pay out of pocket. Grr. Shoulda just got the early scan then. -_-

Glad you and baby are both ok! That sucks about the ultrasound, though. Makes me feel greedy that I get one at every appointment.

Eri: haha don't. You're high risk, I'd never want to be considered high risk. I'm just upset he's not doing the anatomy scan, what if there's something wrong with the baby!?

I'm finding a new OB. I'm tired of this one, he's terrible. This was just the last straw.

Yeah it seems weird he'd skip doing the anatomy scan based on an ER ultrasound.

I just hope, when I find a new OB, they do an anatomy scan. I don't feel comfortable without one... what if something is wrong with baby?

I think he would do it. But i dont want too. I hate the thought of seeing a counsler/ therapist or something. I had seen a couple when i was younger and hated them all. I fet they were all judgmental. I can be hard headed. I will think about it though. Does insurance cover this sorta thing?

Phuket: I don't like them either, but it was worth my marriage to suck up my pride and do it. We didn't like the first counselor but then got a new one. She was better. Then got a new one... she wasn't as good but eh. We had ours through the Air Force and they rotated counselors every 6 wks. We went off and on for a year.

I'm not sure about insurance. It's worth an ask but I'm not sure if they do. If you're religious, a lot of churches will have counseling for couples. If not, you can call around to find an income based one. It's worth it though, especially if you both truly love each other deep down and want to work on it.

I would make sure to mention it right away when you find one. When I switched doctors with DS, my new one made damn sure I had one done. Hopefully it is as important to any new doctor you find as it is to you.

I went to the eye doctor today. I've had a suspicion for over a year now that I needed to get my eyes looked at. I never had issues with them before, but I started having problems focusing. DH and I were at the mall the other day and I couldn't even focus long enough to read the menu at the coffee shop.

So, I went in, and in a week I'll be wearing glasses lol. I'm gonna feel like such a geek at first, but DH has glasses so maybe he'll help me get used to them haha.

Pregnancy actually changes your vision! Usually it corrects afterwards bit sometimes not. My eyes were never the same after my daughter.

I mentioned that my problems started when I was pregnant with DS and that this pregnancy seems to have aggravated the problem but she seemed confident that it wasn't going away. Here's to hoping they are an easy adjustment haha.

I just had mine checked last week and she said the same thing. Pregnancy can make you see alittle blurry and usually it corrects itself after. Mine was still 20/20 though even being pregnant

You'll get used to them quick. I hate my glasses, but only because they are old and I desperately need new ones. I wish I had vision insurance so I could get contacts, but it will be at least next year before that happens. I am much more self-confident wearing contacts - for some reason I feel invisible in my glasses. lol.

Seriously, though, after a few weeks you will feel weird without them.
