20 WEEKS TODAY! i cant believe im halfway done! its going by soo fast!

I will be washing every other day too probably. With 2 kids in diapers I def don't wabna get behind! Lol

True. At this rate I will have two in diapers. DD will be 3 next month and she REFUSES to potty train. When I get more one size in I think I'm just going to start using them on her instead of buying disposables. It'll be good practice with the cloth (without worrying about super delicate newborn skin) and hopefully it'll help her potty train. I'm thinking of making videos of my cloth learning experience... Mostly out of boredom, but also so other newbies can learn from my mistakes. I've become addicted to cloth diapering videos on youtube lately.

Got my second package in today. Two more covers and a set of hemp inserts. One of them is a weehugger and I'm not a fan of the way it feels.. Really stiff. Does anyone use those? Are they good?

If it helps any, my son didn't potty train until 3 1/2. He was afraid to poop. So finally I stuck a laxative suppository up there and stuck him on the potty. He tried hard to hold it in, but eventually went. Hasn't had an accident since.

re doppler gel, I use aloe gel or baby oil - baby oil is much easier to use and cheaper it seems to give a clearer sound too x

I have never tried that kind! It may soften up after its washed. I hope ao for you anyways!


My oldest didn't potty train unti he was 4! In his defense, every time he would start doibg well, I would have another baby and it threw him off. My daughter was fully pitty trained before her 2nd birthday. Even overnight! My 3rd, a boy will be 4 next week and has been potty trained since September. And addie is 19 months old and is just starting to acknowledge the potty. Lol. They all do it on their own time. Peeing in the potty was always easy for them, but the boys refused to poop in the potty! :/

Everyone keeps telling me to MAKE her learn, but if she's not ready she's not ready. Or at least that's what I keep trying to tell them. She was really good about it for a while, but then we moved when she turned two and she just stopped and refused to go anymore. I keep trying different ways of enticing her since we moved again but she is just not interested. No big girl panties, no stickers, no toys, no candy... Nothing will convince this kid, so I figure she'll do it eventually.
