Yea... My gender scan was at 13w6d. They told me boy (Liam) ... Picture in my about me, but I still have fingers crossed for a girl and that it was the umbilical cord. I've been praying for a little girl for so long. But honestly I'll just be happy with a healthy baby!

I feel really great right now, Husband took me to Babies"r"us to buy breast feeding supplies and we got a lot of stuff out of the way. Im really amazed at how much stuff it takes to get started. I think we are going with washable breast pads, seems like a better idea. woohoo, I feel awesome.

Thats awesome lady! I wish we had a Babies R us here! The closest is maybe 3 hours away  
I want to do the washable breast pads too! Seems cheaper and easier

We had a little scare tonight. Went to the bathroom and had a super sharp pain and some bright red spotting, so we took a little trip to the ER. Luckily everything is fine. Baby's heart rate was 163 bpm, no contractions and my cervix was closed. I did feel the first strong kicks today, so that was nice!   The nurse in triage was awesome and kept reassuring me that it was the right thing to do to come and get checked in case anything had been wrong. Then she was asking about my previous c-section and very casually asked if I planned to VBAC with this one. Apparently it is much more common at my hospital than I knew.

Silly question, but has anyone else been having shooting sharp pain in your nipples? Kinda like a sharp bug bite? What is it? How do I make it stop?

You dont need anything to successfully BF besides boobs. I hqve cloth breqst pads and they suck. I leak out of them all the time, and stillend up getting dispoabales in the beginning!

awesome! Though I must say, the only thing I really "needed" to breastfeed was SUPPORT! I found that at La Leche League meetings. Many moms go while pregnant, it may be a huge help to you! oh, and breastpads LOL

well, we solved the "car seats don't fit" problem! I got a 2010 Nissan Quest yesterday! SOOO much room!!!

Thanks, ladies! I definitely feel much better since getting checked out.

I can't wait til my ultrasound so I can actually see the little guy (or gal). Less than 2 weeks now!

Another silly question: do any of you ladies sell scentcy? I used to, but don't anymore. I need a replacement part

I only got one small tube!  .but dh is in his last semester of nursing school and theyre doing ob clinicals...so he's gonna get me some more. Lol
